Changzhou Nanfang Motor Co., Ltd. (Herein after Nanfang) was established in 1992 with the registered capital of RMB 38 million.
Nanfang is one of the best motor manufacturers in China with annual capacity of 500,000 sets. It has an area of 30,000 square meters, over 220 staff including 26 professional technicians. Its major products are reducers-exclusive motor, YS series fractional horsepower motor, YE3 series and YX3 series high efficiency motor, YEJ series brake motor, YVP series variable frequency motor, YB3 series explosion-proof motor, YD series double-speed motor, aluminum-shell motors and other specialized motors. Nanfang motor has been certificated by IS0 9001 , 3C and CE since 2001.
YEJ series electromagnetic brake motor is designed according to IEC standard and has a lot of features such as prompt braking, compact structure, high efficiency, energy saving, high reliability, large starting torque etc. Besides, the brake of the motor has a manual release device, which allows the brake a junction of both manual release and electromagnetic release and is convenient for operation.
YEJ series magnetic brake motor are suitable for mechanism that requires prompt braking, accurate positioning, repeat running, and frequent starting and avoid slipping. Such as elevating machinery, transportation machinery, packing machinery, food machinery, printing machinery, reducers etc.

| Insulation | The motors’ insulation system is set to Class F(105K), examined by Class B(80K), which ensure the life span and reliability of the motors. |
| Motor protection | Motors can be installed with PTC, PT100 used as winding and bearing temperature measurement on request. |
| Voltage andfrequency | Standard voltage and frequency is 380V 50HZ, and can be set to any single voltage in the range of 200-660V at a frequency of 50 or 60HZ. The motors work well within variations of±5% from the rated voltage. |

| Cooling and ventilation | The standard cooling method is totally enclosed fan cooled(TEFC) in accordance with IC411 of IEC60034-6. Standard motors are equipped with auxiliary plastic fans. |

The DC brake disc is assembled on the non-drive end shaft of the motor, when supplied with power, the brake works simultaneously, the electromagnetic force attracts the armature and presses the spring, thus the brake disc is released from armature and endshield, then the motor begins to run; When the power supply is interrupted, electromagnetic force lost, the spring pushes the armature to the brake disc, the motor stops immediately, a braking action finished.
